Grief Support

Undoubtedly, you will feel a variety of emotions when you lose someone close to you. You may have feelings of shock, disbelief, anger, guilt or depression or a combination of these. The ability to make it through the death of a loved one can be challenging.

Caring for yourself is not selfish. The period of recovery is different for every person and the ability to express grief also varies with individuals and cultures. There is no timetable for grief, so don’t compare yourself with others who have lost loved ones. Your life has changed and healing in your own way and time is important for the health of your mind, body and spirit. It’s normal to experience strong emotions suddenly even many years later.

At Mountain View Funeral Chapel, we strive to provide the resources to help you with the grief process. Our staff is here to help guide you towards the information, support, or counseling options you may need. Please feel free to  contact us.
